The Flaming Lips
Way over the top performance, with lights, balloons, confetti, huge inflatable robot (for Yoshima). Wayne surfs the crowd in an inflatable ball while covering David Bowie's Space Oddity. Pure giddiness.
Notice vantage point - it's always better up front.
This guy had too much fun circling me while I was trying to take a still shot of him in front of the sign. I got dizzy...but got the shot!

The "Best of the Fest" award goes to Leight July, a one-woman band, with folksy vocals, and a bluesy guitar. She adds a base-drum with one foot and tambourine with the other. She's very talented, and adorable. I can't wait to catch another show.
