Review
The Kempton Fairgrounds offer plenty of flat camping areas. The music was good, the people were cool. The weather was a factor - cold and windy - but beautiful clear skies.

Ekoostik Hookah, a jam band from Columbus, have been at it for a long time. Some amazing musicianship, and lots of ole favorites.

Rooster Walk Music and Arts Festival
23 acts, 5 stages, with great variety. Don't miss Andy Frasco and the UN, Little Feat, Fireside Collective.

Review
Pops Farm is spread out with several fields and lots of forest camping. Four stages and tons of good bands. Tab Benoit was amazing. Andy Frasco may need to write another apology letter (you had to be there). Little Feat, Fireside Collective, Big Something, Yarn, Grace Potter. Wow, what a lineup!

I kinda don't want to let folks know how nice this festival was because it had just the right amount of people (I'd guess 450). Fun new friends almost kept me from the music - but we could hear just fine at the camp.
Shout outs to Sally, Eric, Alex, for making my face hurt. John did a wonderful job (in only the second year.) Can't wait to do it again. October...

Even with longtime heavyweights like Leftover Salmon, and experimental cheaters Moon Hooch (they play over tracks and pretend not too - boo), Cumberland Honey steals the show again.
